Why does my business need a Website?
A website gives potential customers instant access to important information about your company. It represents you, and your product, when you're not there to speak for yourself. 24 hours a day. Everyday.
How does the service actually work?
Rather than charge a large upfront fee we charge a small affordable monthly fee for the life of the service. Our contract binds you to use the service for a minimum of two years but after that you are free to cancel, though of course we hope you don't.
On cancellation of the service we simply remove your website from the internet and transfer your domain name to whereever you choose.
If you choose a Bespoke Website you have the option to purchase the website outright after a minimum of three years for £500 plus VAT. We can then continue to host and maintain the site for you for an agreed fee, or you can move to a different hosting company, the choice is yours.
I want a website, what next?
It's simple. Choose a template or bespoke website. Send us your text and images. Choose an available domain name (which we can register and purchase on your behalf) or transfer your existing domain name to our webspace. We build your website. You proof and approve your website online. We set up a standing order payment scheme with you, receive the first payment, and launch your website onto the internet.
You have up to three months, from receipt of your order form, to send us your text and images.
And then what?
We host and maintain your website taking care of all problems and making any amendments you require for the duration of the two year contract. We then continue until you tell us you wish to cancel the service.
What happens if I cancel the service?
After the required one month's notice we simply stop taking payment from you and remove your website from the internet. We can then repoint or transfer your domain to whereever you choose.
Will Search Engines be able to find my website?
Standing out from the crowd can be difficult, especially with Google alone claiming to list over 8 billion pages. We therefore offer a search engine submission package for the equivalent of £3.83 per month, which submits your website to the leading 100 search engines every month for a year. Will my website comply with the Disability Discrimination Act?
All our websites include 'alternative descriptions' on all pictures and menu bars so that they are fully accessible to visually impaired people who use page reading software.
What information can I include on my website?
You can put whatever you like on your website. Our standard service includes ten webpages. Any extra pages will be charged at £1.50 plus VAT per month.
Changes/Updates/Amendments - What's included in the price?
All website maintenance such as broken links or pages not displaying correctly. Up to four amendments per month to existing information. This doesn't include 'news' which is charged as an EXTRA.
Apart from the advertised price, are any other fees payable?
Only if you decide to buy one of the optional extras, which are payable on order. See EXTRAS for more information.
How does the £35 per month bespoke service differ from the £20 per month service?
You get a unique website designed specifically for your business. Everything else is exactly the same.
